Thank you for supporting Parents Guide to the World! As a small, family-run business (just Shea and Sam!) utilizing print-on-demand services, we want to ensure you have a positive experience with your purchase. Please read our return policy carefully.
General Policy:
We generally do not accept returns or exchanges unless an item you received was damaged, misprinted, has major defects, or is the wrong product. This is due to the nature of our print-on-demand process, where each item is created specifically for your order. As a small team, we appreciate your understanding of this policy.
Exceptions for Damaged, Misprinted, Defective, or Wrong Items:
If your order arrives damaged during shipping, is misprinted, has major defects, or is the wrong product, we will gladly work with you to find a solution. Please contact us within 15 days of receiving your order to initiate the return process.
How to Report an Issue:
To report a damaged, misprinted, defective, or wrong item, please follow these steps:

Provide Details: In your email, please include your order number and a clear description of the issue.
Include Photos: Attach clear photographs that show the damage, misprint, defect, or the incorrect item received. This will help us assess the situation quickly and efficiently.
Specific Instructions for Damaged Items:
If your package arrives damaged, please make sure to document the damage with photos of the packaging and the damaged item(s) before opening. We strongly recommend that you immediately contact the delivery service/carrier to report the damage and file a claim, as they are responsible for the package during transit. Please also provide us with all details of the damage and any claim number you receive from the carrier within 15 days of receiving your order. This information will help us assist you further in resolving the issue according to our supplier's policies.
Specific Instructions for Missing Items:
If your order tracking indicates that your package has been delivered but you cannot locate it, or if an item is missing from your delivered package, please first contact the delivery service/carrier to inquire about the package's whereabouts or to report the missing item. They may have information about the delivery that is not available to us. Please then contact us within 15 days of the expected delivery date (or the date the package was marked as delivered) with details of the missing item and any information you received from the carrier. We will do our best to assist you in resolving the issue in accordance with our supplier's policies.
Our Process:
Once we receive your email and photos (for damaged, misprinted, or wrong items) within 15 days of your receipt of the order, we will review your claim. If the issue is confirmed to be due to a manufacturing error, damage during shipping, or if you received the wrong product (as per our supplier's policies), we will work with you on a resolution. This may include a reprint of the item or a refund, depending on the circumstances and our supplier's policies. For missing items, we will investigate the issue based on the information you provide and the carrier's response.
Important Considerations:
Domestic Shipping Only: We currently only ship domestically within the United States.
15-Day Initiation Window: To be eligible for a potential return, exchange, or refund for damaged, misprinted, defective, or wrong items, or to report a missing item, you must contact us and initiate the resolution process within 15 days of receiving your order or the expected delivery date.
Shipping Time Variations & Supplier Locations: Please be aware that shipping times can vary. While most of our products are printed domestically, our supplier may occasionally utilize other locations, which could impact shipping times. We will always do our best to ensure your order arrives as quickly as possible.
Condition of Returned Items: If a return is approved (for reasons other than missing items), the item should be returned in its original packaging (if possible) and in a condition that allows for assessment.
No Returns or Exchanges for Other Reasons: We strive to provide accurate product descriptions and high-quality images to help you envision yourself with our products. When using specific brands for our items, we will often include the brand name and the manufacturer's product number. Many of these blank items can be found at your local stores, which we encourage you to utilize to ensure the sizing and fit are right for you before ordering. Therefore, we do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons such as buyer's remorse, incorrect sizing (unless the size received was different from what was ordered due to an error on our supplier's part), or if you simply changed your mind. Please carefully review product descriptions and sizing charts (if applicable) before placing your order.
Potential for Other Solutions: While our standard policy requires initiation within 15 days for the reasons listed above, please feel free to contact us even after this period to see if we can explore any other potential solutions on a case-by-case basis.
Refund Processing:
If a refund is approved, it will be processed back to your original payment method. Please note that the processing time for the refund to appear in your account will depend on our payment company and your bank or card issuer. This timeframe begins after the issue has been fully resolved by us
