The Unbroken Manifesto: Our Mission & FAQ
The Final Unbroken Collective and Final Girl Lines are founded on a mission of resilience, community, and giving back. It is our foundational promise that a portion of all profits will be pledged to reputable, high-impact charities and medical organizations appropriate to the products. Such as those dedicated to cancer and other life-altering disease research and cures, patient support, and mental health organizations.
As a new and growing brand, our ability to give is directly tied to the support we receive from this collective. Our commitment is to grow our contributions as the brand grows, increasing the percentage and the impact of our donations over time.
Thank you for being part of this journey. Every purchase not only supports our family and our story but also helps build a future where we can contribute to a cause that has profoundly affected our own lives.
About Our Brands & Mission
Who is behind this project? We are a family of survivors, artists, and creators based in Maine, with roots and family all over the country. Our family is also proudly neurodivergent. Everything you see here is born from our real-life experiences. We have walked the edge of life and death multiple times with illness. We know the pain, the loss, the horror, and the suffering. Because of that, we also know the profound value of joy, hope, and love. Our three brands are a testament to that entire journey.
What is "Parents Guide to the World" (PGTTW)? This is our core blog and YouTube channel. It is a resource we created to help families navigate the adventures and challenges of modern life. You'll find a mix of everything: practical advice for parents, stories from our travels, reviews of family-friendly activities, and plenty of appearances from our five beloved pets. It’s our way of sharing joy and resilience with the world.
What is "The Final Unbroken Collective"? Born from our family's journey, this is our apparel brand for all survivors. It's built on the belief that acknowledging our darkness is the first step toward owning our strength. The designs are gritty, raw, and powerful—a badge of honor for anyone who has been through a fire and is still standing.
What is the "Final Girl" line? The "Final Girl" line is a parallel apparel brand, creatively guided by our family's matriarch. It is a tribute to the iconic archetype of female survival, celebrating the strength, intelligence, and unwavering will of women who have faced their own real-life horrors and emerged, not as victims, but as victors.
What about the photographic art? The photography gallery is a source of inspiration and hope. While the apparel lines acknowledge the darkness, the art celebrates the light—the moments of beauty in the world that remind us what we are all fighting for.
Our Products & Community
Who are these apparel products for? They are for every warrior and their allies:
For those currently in the fight: A declaration that you are not giving up.
For the survivors: A badge of honor for the battles you have already won.
For the supporters: A powerful symbol of solidarity, helping to bring sensitive subjects to the surface with compassion, all while wearing cool, bad-ass clothing that has a deep meaning.
I have an idea for a design. Do you take requests? Absolutely. Our collective is a community. If there is a story of survival or a neurodivergent identity you feel needs a voice, please email us at parentsguidetotheworld@gmail.com to send us your idea.
The Shop & Policies
How are your products made? Currently, most of our apparel is created using a high-quality, print-on-demand (POD) model. As our collective grows and a product becomes very popular, we plan to stock our most popular items locally.
What is your return/sizing policy? Because most of our items are custom-printed for you by our production partners, we must adhere to their policies and cannot accept returns or exchanges for sizing issues or buyer's remorse. Please read the detailed sizing information in the 'additional info' section of each apparel page carefully before ordering.
However, your satisfaction is our top priority. If your item arrives misprinted, damaged, or defective in any way, please contact us within 14 days of receipt with a photo of the issue, and we will work with our partners to make it right.
Our Stance & Finding Help
Is your content a substitute for professional advice? No. Absolutely not. The stories and themes on this site are based on our personal experiences. What should I do if I have serious medical concerns or am in a crisis? Your life and well-being are the most important thing.
For any immediate, life-threatening medical emergency, please call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room (ER) without delay.
For other serious concerns, we strongly and sincerely urge you to schedule an appointment with a qualified doctor or mental health professional. A professional can create a treatment plan specifically for you.
